Ichetucknee Springs State Park
State Road 238
Fort White, Fla. 32038
(904) 497-2511
To refresh the mind and body, spend a hot summer day floating on an inner tube down the crystal-clear Ichetucknee River. The river moves slowly, so visitors have lots of chances to spot wildlife and exotic birds in the trees overhead. Shuttle service is provided during certain times to return guests to their starting points for either another ride down the river or a picnic under the trees. No food, beverages or tobacco are permitted on the river.

From Interstate 75, take the High Springs-Alachua exit (U.S. 441). Take U.S. 441 north to High Springs. Turn north on State Road 27 and head into Fort White. Follow either the North or South park entrance signs.
Visitors can make a full run of the river (3 1/2 miles) from May 1 until Labor Day, 8 a.m. to sundown. Other runs are open year round, 8 a.m. to sundown. The park only accepts a limited number of visitors on the river per day, and everyone is admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Admission to the south entrance of the park is $3.25 per person; children under 5 are admitted free. Admission to the north entrance of the park is $3.35 per carload (up to eight people) and $4.25 per person for use of the river; children under 5 float the river for free. Prices are subject to change. We encourage visitors to call (904) 497-2511 for the latest prices.
